3D Modeling
It is oftentimes that a commission for a project requires me to do 3D modeling to create a photo-real final still image of a new product or do complete development for a new 3D character. I use several applications that fit well into my workflow. The main modeling application I use is the Foundry’s Modo -a highly capable 3D modeling application known for its stunning renders. Pixologic ZBrush is used for more organic type 3D modeling.
The final 3D mesh is usually exported to Modo to do final UV mapping, weight mapping (for characters), final textures, material assignment and renders. Character rigging, posing and final renders are completed in Modo. Featured projects in the gallery below indicate the variety of 3D collateral that can be produced. This ranges from cars, everyday objects to more obscure items, animals, and characters and products, prototypes.
